I want to take a moment to thank the Clarion Newspaper for taking the time to interview the candidates and help inform the citizens of Jackson County about this important election. I also want to stress how important it is for every supporter to show up and vote on June 16. While we had an overwhelming victory in the primary, earning more than 48% of the vote, our work is not finished.

We came incredibly close to winning this race outright, but now we must stay focused and finish what we started. Every vote matters, and your support, your prayers, and your commitment to this campaign have brought us this far.

If you are unable to be at the polls on June 16, absentee voting has already begun. Visit Circuit Clerk Bart Buchanan's office, located on the 2nd floor of the Courthouse and request an absentee ballot if you qualify to vote absentee.

On June 16, let's make our voices heard once again and move Jackson County forward together.

Thank you for your continued support.
Craig Holcomb
God. Country. Jackson County.

The people deserve a Sheriff’s Office that works for them.
They deserve transparency, accountability, and leadership that puts citizens first. That means deputies who are visible in our communities, working body cameras that promote trust, a real strategy to combat the drug crisis, and evidence procedures that maintain the highest standards of integrity. This campaign is not about titles or résumés, it’s about results. I believe we can build a Sheriff’s Office that serves with integrity, professionalism, and accountability while restoring the public’s trust in law enforcement. The future of our community depends on strong leadership and a clear plan for action.

On June 16, make your voice heard.

Together, we can bring real change.

WE NEED CHANGE !
CITIZENS DESERVE CHANGE!

I’ve made it a priority throughout this campaign to not only share my experience, endorsements, and qualifications, but also real, actionable plans that focus on results, accountability, and meaningful change, all while being responsible with taxpayer dollars.
Let me be very clear: many of the improvements I’m proposing can be accomplished within the current budget, with little to no additional cost to taxpayers.
For example:
• Fixing morale and retention, We can implement practical solutions like flexible shift structures that better support our deputies and their families. When you take care of your people, they take care of the community.
• Returning to true community policing, Deputies should know the citizens they serve, be present in neighborhoods, and build trust. This doesn’t cost money, it requires leadership and commitment.
• Body-worn cameras, these are already available resources. They should be in use, not sitting on a shelf. Transparency and accountability are non-negotiable.
• Addressing the drug crisis, not with talk, but with action. I will establish a coordinated, multi-agency task force using existing manpower. We will target suppliers and criminal organizations while also partnering with faith-based and nonprofit groups to help those struggling with addiction. Arresting addicts alone is not the solution.
• Fixing the evidence system, we will ensure strict accountability, security, and integrity in evidence handling, something that can and must be done within the current framework.
This campaign isn’t about empty promises or increasing budgets, it’s about leadership, accountability, and having the courage to implement solutions that already exist.
I’m committed to delivering real change, and I’ll continue to be transparent every step of the way.

To the citizens of our community, to our Gold Star families, and to the friends and loved ones of our fallen soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines, today, we honor and remember your sacrifice alongside theirs.

Memorial Day is more than a holiday. It is a solemn reminder that freedom has been paid for by brave men and women who answered the call of duty and never came home.

To the families who carry the weight of that loss every day, please know that our nation stands with you, prays for you, and remains eternally grateful for the heroes you gave to this country.

Their courage will never be forgotten.
Their sacrifice will never be in vain.
And their memory will live on forever in the hearts of grateful Americans.

May God bless our fallen heroes, their families, and the United States of America.

Good evening, citizens of Jackson County, Alabama. Since the results of the primary election, some have chosen to take this campaign in a negative direction, attacking my character, my professionalism, and even posting online stories about some of my supporters. That is not the kind of campaign I want to run, because I believe the citizens of Jackson County deserve better than negativity and division.

I am proud of my career, my record, and every supporter who has worked tirelessly to help share our message across this county. As a man of faith, I believe asking for forgiveness, growing stronger, and becoming a better person is someting we should all strive for. I believe in redemption, grace, and treating others with dignity and respect.

Real leadership is not about tearing people down. Real leadership is about stepping up with a servant’s heart, uniting our communities, and focusing on solutions that move Jackson County forward.

On June 16, with your support, your prayers, and Lord willing, I will be honored to step up and serve as your next Sheriff of Jackson County.

Thank you, God bless you, and God bless Jackson County.
