Well Election day is finally here!
I want to take a moment just to tell you the Citizens of Scottsburg what a privilege it has been to be your Mayor for the last 4 years no matter the outcome today. I just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity to serve each of you.
Please vote today no matter who you are voting for, many men and women have given the ultimate sacrifice for all Americans to have this privilege to chose our governmental leaders.
I hope you are voting for me to continue as Mayor of Scottsburg and to keep SCOTTSBURG MOVING FOWARD.
Thank you again for the privilege to have severed you these last 4 years, and I will be thrilled to serve 4 more years if elected today.

Hi Folks,
My opponent has been running radio ads as to the State of the City when he first took office 36 years ago in 1988. Scottsburg was in Poor Condition and my opponent did put the "Train Back on the Track".
However when I became Mayor in 2020 I found similar issues.
1. Scottsburg was on a Sewer Ban.
2. Our Water Plant was leaking 80,000 gallons of water per day.
3.There had been 230 triaxle dump truck loads of Sludge Matter dumped onto an Army Corp. of Engineers Wet Land.
4. None of our Utilities had an emergency fund and just enough money to pay the bills.

Today we have a new Sewer Plant and we have been lifted from the Sewer Ban.

The Water Leak has been repaired.
Our Streets have been paved and New Sidewalks are being installed.
Our utilities have Emergency funds with a new Progressive Software making it easier for you our Citizens to pay your bills.
Over 100 new Homes have been built with more to come which raises our tax base to allow more funds for future projects in Scottsburg.
Conco is coming to Scottsburg , bringing with it approximately 175 new jobs starting at $28.00 per hour.
2 new Industrial Parks are being planned to encourage new growth for Scottsburg.
I am Mayor Terry Amick a Businessman not a Politician. I have been called "The Paving Mayor" as well as " The Get it Done Mayor".

With your vote on November 7th we will continue to keep moving in a positive direction. LETS KEEP SCOTTSBURG MOVING FOWARD.
