We are honored to be the first ever grant recipient from the Scott County Women’s Philanthropy. We used the funding to bring our “Community Care Hub” vision to life. The Community Care Hub is located at the Scott County Community Clearinghouse. The vending machine is free and stocked with a variety of products most needed by our neighbors to promote health, safety and provide dignity.

If you would like to donate items for the Community Care Hub, they may be dropped off at the Clearinghouse on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-1 and Thursdays 9-12 and 4-6. Donations may also be dropped off Monday-Friday from 8-5 at the Lifelong Learning Center.

Out of caution for our Clearinghouse staff and volunteers, the Scott County Community Clearinghouse will be closing at noon today due to the heat advisory.
We encourage everyone to stay safe and hydrated if you must be in the heat.

September’s Mocktail of the Month is here and it’s bringing all the cozy fall vibes without the alcohol.

Fall is just around the corner, so we’re mixing up something that tastes like the season. This one combines spiced apple cider, unsweetened iced tea, and a little cinnamon or maple syrup. Add some ice, an apple slice, and a cinnamon stick, and you’re set.

Our Clearinghouse urgently needs protein sources, including meat (fresh, frozen, or canned), tuna, and peanut butter. Canned vegetables, mac & cheese, instant potatoes, and pasta. Donations can be dropped off Monday-Friday at the Lifelong Learning Center or the Clearinghouse on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Donation pick up is also available by calling the Scott County Community Clearinghouse at 812-752-0123.
