Congratulations to the new Officers of the Scott County Historical Society. The group, will continue after beginning in 11/25/1922 and restarted in 1970 and again restarted on 7/26/2026. Perhaps this will be the last time there will be a lapse in the group.
Officers are: Stephanie Carlisle Kirby - President;
Vice President - Missy Doyle Callaway and Secretary & Treasurer, Lena Easley Lundgren. Thank you ladies for not letting the organization die off!

Plans are to have 2 meetings per year for the group and dates will be set soon for 2027 meetings. All meetings will have a light supper prior to the meeting. Other plans are for interacting more with the school children. Ideas are already floating around including a DAY CAMP event for elementary students.

A big Thanks to all of the participants last night at the reorganization meeting: We had a total of 19 people!

Watch this group develop the SCHS into the best Historical Society ever!
