Mark your calendars. The Scott County Historical Society is going to regroup and become more active. Sunday, July 26, 5-7 p.m. at the Scott County Museum, 1050 S Main St., Scottsburg, IN.
Program: Jeannie Noe Carlisle will give a history from the organization of the Scott County Historical Society in the 1920s. There will be a salad dinner served for all present. Donations will be accepted.
To become a member, pay $20.00 for one person to the Scott County Museum or $25.00 for a family at one address.

The Scott County Genealogical Society, Inc. will be having FREE classes for those wanting to learn how to do their family history. Call 812.752.3388 to schedule the date and time you prefer. We need everyone to call to register, though, so we have enough supplies available.

Scott County Historical Society will have a dinner meeting on Sunday, July 26, 2026. All Museum members are automatically members so all paid museum paid members are invited. If you haven't joined the museum do so ASAP so you will be receiving all of the news of all that is being offered at your Museum. The cost is only $20.00 per single or $25 for family.

The dinner will begin at 5 p.m. and the fee is $20.00 and afterwards, there will be a short Local Scott County History program plus a short meeting.

Please reserve your seat (only 45 available) with your paid dinner fee on July 21st.

Questions or comments call 812.752.1050. You can RSVP at anytime up until the July 21st.
