A huge THANK YOU to Walmart for donating a brand-new 75” TV to our new fire station! We are beyond grateful for your generosity and support of our department.

This TV will be a great addition to our station, helping with training, meetings, and giving our firefighters a chance to unwind after serving our community.

It’s partnerships like these that remind us how fortunate we are to have such amazing local businesses standing behind their first responders. Thank you, Walmart, for helping make our new station feel even more like home!

🚨 LAST CHANCE! 🚨

Today’s the FINAL day to register for Scottsburg Fire Camp!

📅 Camp Dates: July 23 & 24
🕘 Time: 9AM – 3PM
👧👦 Ages: 7–14
💵 Cost: $20 (cash or check)
📍 Location: 185 S. Lake Rd. N., Scottsburg
🍕 🍔 Lunch provided both days!!

Campers will take part in:
✅ Fire extinguisher training
✅ Rope & rescue tool demos
✅ CPR & first aid
✅ Fire safety and more!

🚑 Scott County EMS will be there showing how they provide lifesaving emergency medical care in the field!

👮‍♂️ Scottsburg PD and Scott County Sheriff’s Department K9 dog will be joining us one of the days to show off what they do too!
We figured we’d let them in on the fun—you know, so they don’t get jealous of all the kids wanting to be firefighters.

Team work at its finest!!!

Our 2026 Crusade for Children total raised in Austin was $9,656.48 but there is so much more to tell!

With the addition of Scottsburg Fire, Lexington Fire and a donation by the IOOF #555, the total donation contributed by Scott County is $48,106.30! All of the Scott County Fire Departments appreciate our generous community!
