This resident's Letter to the Editor is now in the Scottsdale Progress. ✍️📰

The letter is attracting more readers for a simple reason: residents are not the top priority for one of the three City Council candidates, as Mr. Babb sees it.

And until that candidate reconsiders his positions, statements, and the financial support behind them, Mr. Babb will support Michelle Ugenti-Rita and me.🏜️

The recent letters by Councilwomen Kathy Littlefield and Jan Dubauskas about our water security were published together in the Scottsdale Progress. 📰

Kathy and Jan follow the facts: careful planning, investment in water rights, wells, recycling, storage, and diversification—and slowing high-density development—is how we secure our water.💧

Scottsdale’s water security deserves steady, thoughtful, long-term management—not election-timed alarmism built on half-truths and selective outrage.

Thank you, Kathy and Jan. 🧡🏜️

I enjoyed the ribbon-cutting for the highly anticipated 3.5-acre dog park at Thompson Peak Parkway and Hayden this morning, alongside Council colleagues and Parks and Recreation commissioners. ✂️🏞️🐕

Approved by voters in the 2019 bond election, this new park—featuring three fenced areas, shade canopies, and public art—will enhance our residents’ quality of life for years to come.❤️🏜️
