Experiencing homelessness is expensive. 💸 Motel rooms. Check cashing fees. Fast food because there's no kitchen. Rideshares because there's no car. The costs pile up fast, making it nearly impossible for families to get ahead. Our model is built to stop that cycle by providing the stability and resources families need to move forward, not just survive. 💜

It emphasizes the importance of nurturing young minds, fostering empathy, and ensuring that children are valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. Family Promise of Greater Phoenix is able to provide the stability and safety for children and families who are curreently unhoused. We create a space for HOPE to blossom, thanks to our wonderful community who support our mission. Every Child Deserves Safety, Stability, and HOPE!

Behind every door at Cheryl’s House is a family working toward stability. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒 Each year, this site hosts nearly 100 families facing homelessness, providing safe shelter and the full wrap-around support needed to secure independent housing. 🏠

Last week, Corpus Christi opened their doors and hearts to families staying in our shelter program. Congregation members welcomed families with kindness and hospitality throughout the week.

During their hosting week, they celebrated one of our teens graduating high school. The Knights of Columbus served dinner for our families and even brought a cake to make the evening extra special.

It was such a meaningful reminder of what happens when a community comes together to support families with compassion and care. Thank you to the entire congregation for making the night so memorable.

Moments like these are what Family Promise is all about. 💙
