I delivered the three small animal shelters to the conservation center. Thanks to my dad and Mr. Glazier for helping deliver. And thank you to everyone who helped make my project possible! Sounds like they were going right into use. The Center needed them right away.

And here is the final product. Thank you to all who made this possible. I am grateful for the donations, time spent helping me and for all those that wanted to help but because of Covid-19 could not. Delivery in 2 weeks.

Today was my build day. Because of social distancing, my project had to be executed in a unique way. I had two families, each working on a house and stand in two work areas with tools that had been sanitized, in a well ventilated area with fans. It made it more complicated but worked well. We are grateful for those that could help and for those that wanted to but couldn’t be accommodated. Paint day tomorrow!

To honor BSA's Social Distancing requirement for my Eagle project build we had to get creative personally reaching out to families to build and to paint and schedule them when we can all be 6 feet a part. Super weird times we are in. I needed two families to build and will be reaching out to a family or two to paint.

I have my build day scheduled this Saturday and Sunday to build three small animal shelters. My Dad and I built a prototype and it was approved by the conservation center. All the pieces are cut and staged ready for assembly and paint.

Do you know that there is an amazing wildlife sanctuary in the desert outside of Scottsdale, AZ. Well there is and it is the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center: https://www.southwestwildlife.org/

It is inspiring to see how they care for and rehabilitate the animals, educate the public and promote animal conservation. It is a privilege to build three small animal (raccoon houses) for them.

It will cost about $750 for materials, would you consider helping me fund this project and coming alongside me? Any excess donations will be provided to the Conservation Center when I deliver the completed houses.

Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center of Scottsdale AZ rescues native wild animals that have lost their homes to development, or are found injured, orphaned, or abandoned.
