🚧 LONGMORE ROAD: CLOSURE OF SOUTHBOUND LANES
📅 MAY 11 to 29, 2026

The south bound lane of Longmore Road will be closed between the Salt River Community Building and McDowell Road for the installation of the new water main.
Detour routes to Alma School or Dobson for south bound traffic will be required.
The north bound lane will remain open to local traffic.
It is recommended that all other traffic seek alternate routes.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience while we make improvements to the water system and apologize for the delay.

This is the FINAL WEEK to share your input on two critical transportation studies within the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC): the Tribal Transportation Safety Plan (TTSP) and State Route 87 (SR 87) Corridor Study.

Your feedback will help:
• Identify transportation safety needs across the SRPMIC
• Inform future recommendations for both SR-87 and other

Community roadways
• Shape investments in future transportation projects
