Nominations are now open for Scottsdale Salutes, the city’s annual program honoring veterans, active-duty military and members of the National Guard and reserves with ties to our community.

Selected honorees will have banners displayed on light poles in Old Town for two weeks in November, be recognized at a special reception and be invited to walk in the annual Parada del Sol Historic Parade.

Nominees must live in Scottsdale, have lived here previously or have a strong local connection, such as working in the city for at least five years.

On August 13th, 2026, a jury found the criminal who unloaded 15 rounds on my husband in the line of duty GUILTY on 3 counts, including 1st degree attempted murder. Of the 15 rounds shot, 8 of those rounds struck him, including once to the head.

On August 25th, 2026, a jury found the same criminal GUILTY on two counts of misconduct involving weapons.

On August 26th, 2026, all 9 of the criminal’s priors were proved and admitted to.

Earthly Justice is being served for the criminal who nearly murdered my husband and inflicted severe and lasting mental trauma on his squadmates. But because of God, Tyler is a living MIRACLE!
