Scottsdale Progress recently profiled Josh Hernandez, better known to his followers as Mad Charcoal, as he opens the doors to his first permanent gallery in Old Town Scottsdale.

It was a pleasure to celebrate this moment alongside Josh, with Peter Strub sharing his perspective on his work and the creative force behind it.

And as luck would have it, you can experience that work in person this week.

The Silent Frontier, Josh Hernandez’s latest exhibition, opens at The Marshall Gallery on August 27 with an Artist Reception from 6 - 9 pm.
