Followed along with Scottsdale Senior Services this morning on one of their home visits and met Ana. She’s from Argentina 🇦🇷 where I studied abroad and we had so much fun talking about empanadas 🥟 and alfajores and all the other amazing food there! Ana is now legally blind - but still tries to live a very independent life - and that’s thanks in part to Scottsdale’s Beat the Heat initiative. It’s making a huge difference for so many seniors right now. See our story tomorrow AM on ❤️

This Memorial Day, take time to honor and remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 👏✨

The newest episode of Vintage Voice features a conversation with Veterans Advisory Commission Chair Justin Layman about how Scottsdale supports and celebrates veterans through programs, memorials and community engagement opportunities.

Scottsdale is home to several meaningful tributes to those who served, including the Scottsdale Memorial for the Fallen at Scottsdale Civic Center, where 66 service members connected to the Scottsdale community are honored. The city also hosts programs like Scottsdale Salutes and VeteransAZ to recognize veterans and share their stories.

Granite Reef Senior Center hosted its first ever Senior Prom! The center was filled with music, dancing, and great company. 💃
The dance floor never stopped, as everyone enjoyed a truly memorable afternoon! 🕺
