Mata Mata turtles can strike FAST when it’s feeding time! Using a quick suction-feeding technique, they vacuum up their food in the blink of an eye — and Miss Mata definitely showed off her speed today. 👀🍽️

We treated her to a special egg celebration with an ice sheet cake filled with her favorite goodies. 🙌

If you want to visit Agatha and her stingray friends, you can catch their lunchtime feedings every Saturday and Sunday at 1pm. 🐟💙

At Butterfly Wonderland, we’re proud to be a Pal Place through —supporting guests with autism, developmental disabilities, and sensory sensitivities through a more inclusive and thoughtful guest experience.

As part of this program, Pal Tools help visitors feel prepared and supported, including a preview video to help families know what to expect, insider tips for planning ahead, and sensory bags and guides that support communication and comfort during their visit.
