Keep Your Distance from This Salt River Visitor

An Asian Water Monitor has been seen in the Salt River area. It may be tempting to get a closer look, but approaching it could be dangerous for both you and the reptile.

The safest response is to leave it alone and make a report.
• Non-native reptile reported nearby
• Do not touch or approach
• Keep children and pets away
• Can defend itself if threatened
• Call in with the date, time, and location.

Report to Arizona Game and Fish Department at 623-236-7201.
