Synopsis:

On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, Agents from The South-Central Kentucky Drug Task Force assisted by Homeland Security Investigations from the Bowling Green Field Office, The South-Central KY DTF Aviation unit and Kentucky State Police Interdiction Team. Conducted a controlled delivery of a parcel from a commercial shipping provider to a Location that traveled through Logan County to a destination in Sharon Grove Kentucky. The parcel contained 44 pounds of Crystal Methamphetamine. The parcel was delivered and two individuals from Hopkinsville Kentucky took possession of the parcel and were arrested during a traffic stop. Steven W Caldwell, 49 and Amanda G Tanner, 45, were arrested and lodged in the Todd County Jail. The shipment has a street value of over $1,000,000 dollars. Director Jacky Hunt stated that this was a major seizure that has struck a blow to the drug dealers in the area. More arrests are forthcoming and this case continues.

WANTED — PLEASE SHARE

The Scottsville Police Department and Allen County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Eddie Hill, who currently has an active arrest warrant for R**e, 1st Degree and Sexual Abuse, 1st Degree.

Morgantown Police Department received information indicating Hill may be in Allen County. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Scottsville Police Department or Allen County Sheriff’s Office at 270-237-3611.

Do not attempt to approach or apprehend him. Contact law enforcement with any information regarding his location.

All charges are allegations, and the accused is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

*** INVESTIGATION ***

On the morning of May, 5th 2026, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in reference to grave sites that were damaged at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church (at the intersection of Old Gallatin Road and Kay Brown Road). Deputies observed several headstones in the cemetery that were intentionally damaged or disturbed.
