Due to the cold, rainy weather we have changed plans a little. A tote box is available on the front steps of the Chapel of Scottsville First United Methodist Church for donations to keep dry.
Take what you need, leave what you can.

Leave items such as warm hats, gloves, coats, sleeping bags, flashlights with batteries, small amounts of non-perishable foods (breakfast bars, canned food with flip tops), hygiene items.

As we enter spring and more consistently warmer weather, the first brief inaugural season of the Warming Tree, Scottsville is drawing to a close with plans to resume November 1.
Feel free to use the Warming Tree as a place to leave non-perishable food items for our homeless friends in small quantities. When the heat of summer arrives, the plan is to maintain a cooler with cold water.
