Allen County Cooperative Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources Kentucky Cooperative Extension is the educational resource for all Kentuckians to build better communities and improve quality of life.

The Agriculture and Natural Resources program provides non-formal education in the areas of agricultural production, homeowner plantings, and natural resource utilization. Specific programs include information on food production, farm business management, marketing and processing agricultural products, natural resource management and home lawn and garden information. We address issues dealing with environmental stewardship, the rural-urban interface, and value-added enterprises.

Come celebrate National Farmer's Market Week with us at the Allen County-Scottsville Farmer's Market this Saturday at the Extension Office from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM! We will have plenty of fresh produce, honey, and baked goods all made and grown locally here in Allen County.

A reminder for our Senior Voucher recipients, we have less than 50 dollars left to distribute in Double Dollars! The quicker we distribute the final amount, the sooner we can try to receive additional funds, so come out this Saturday to finish it out!

Make plans to join us this year for our annual Farm to Fork Dinner! This years event will be held at Branham Farms Arena on Friday, September 11th. All proceeds go to benefit the Allen County 4-H Program! Stop by the Allen County Extension Office or call us at 270-237-3146 to get your tickets before they are gone!
