Allen County Cooperative Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources Kentucky Cooperative Extension is the educational resource for all Kentuckians to build better communities and improve quality of life.

The Agriculture and Natural Resources program provides non-formal education in the areas of agricultural production, homeowner plantings, and natural resource utilization. Specific programs include information on food production, farm business management, marketing and processing agricultural products, natural resource management and home lawn and garden information. We address issues dealing with environmental stewardship, the rural-urban interface, and value-added enterprises.

‼️ATTENTION SENIORS‼️

Due to supply and shipping issues, we are having to postpone the sign ups for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Vouchers that were to take place this Friday, May 1st. The state hopes to have the cards distributed for sign ups by the middle of May, so please keep an eye out for further updates and sign up dates. We are sorry for this inconvenience, but if you are able, we would still love to see everyone out at the market this Saturday for our first set-up of the season!
