We've officially completed our Cedar Ave. Streetscape Project in South ! These improvements will help make one of our city's busiest corridors safer for pedestrians and drivers while creating a more welcoming gateway into the neighborhood.

More major streetscape projects are continuing throughout Downtown and in West Scranton as we invest in our neighborhoods, making them more inviting for everyone who lives, works, and travels through our city.

Excited to join with Lackawanna County Commissioners Bill Gaughan and Thom Welby to announce the Fan Festival coming to Downtown ⚽ .

We're proud that was selected as one of only three PA cities to host an official World Cup Fan Zone. With free family-friendly activities, soccer skills and drills, live entertainment, and more, we can't wait to welcome residents and visitors to our city this summer!

It is always an honor to spend Memorial Day at Scranton Veterans Memorial Park with the members of VFW Post 25.

We must never forget the sacrifice of those who have served our country.

Thank you to Scouts of America Troop 42, the members of the Scranton Fire Department, the Northeast Detachment of the Marine Corps League, Ron Leas Big Band, and all who contributed to today's solemn ceremony.

Perfect day for a parade! We are grateful to the NEPA Armed Forces Day Parade Association and all the military and law enforcement support that made the event safe.

This morning we gathered at the Scranton Police Memorial for our annual Peace Officers Memorial Day ceremony to honor the fallen officers who gave their lives in service to their communities.

It’s a reminder of the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers across the country, and of the officers here in who continue to keep our city safe.

Thank you to Chief Carroll and the Scranton Police Department for carrying on this tradition every year.
