πŸš‚ BIG BOY IS COMING TO SCRANTON! πŸš‚

On June 15 & 16, 2026, downtown Scranton will welcome one of the most anticipated railroad events in recent history as Union Pacific's Big Boy locomotive arrives at Steamtown National Historic Site.

As a proud event partner, COLTS will provide shuttle service to help visitors travel to and from designated event locations. Due to the significant number of attendees expected, both our regular fixed-route bus service and event shuttle operations may experience delays throughout the event.

Designated shuttle pick-up and drop-off locations will be available for event attendees. Visitors planning to use shuttle services should monitor event information and updates at https://www.nps.gov/stea/planyourvisit/big-boy-reunion-at-steamtown-2026.htm

🚍 Regular COLTS Service
Passengers using our regular routes are encouraged to allow extra travel time and check schedules and route information at www.coltsbus.com.

πŸ“± Stay informed and plan ahead as we help welcome thousands of visitors to our community for this historic event.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to safely serve both our passengers and event guests.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our friend and colleague, Andrew "Drew" Klees, who served as a Shared Ride Operator with COLTS since August 2022.

Drew was a dedicated employee who took pride in serving our passengers and community. His commitment, kindness, and professionalism touched the lives of many riders and coworkers throughout his time with COLTS.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Drew's family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. Please, keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
