Today, we’re celebrating one of the world’s most important foods (and our favorite vegetable). Happy International Day of the Potato! 🥔

In 2024, the United Nations General Assembly declared May 30 the International Day of the Potato to highlight the potato as the third most consumed crop globally and a contributor to food security, nutrition, livelihoods, and employment of people all over the world. It serves as an opportunity to build on the International Year of the Potato, which was celebrated in 2008.
