WHAT A SEASON FOR CHARGER VOLLEYBALL! 🔴🔵

The Chargers wrapped up an outstanding 2026 season today, finishing as Sub-State Runner-Up and ending the season with an impressive 26-12 overall record!

Although the season didn’t end the way we had hoped, there is so much to celebrate and be proud of with this group! From earning a share of the Pioneer League Championship to competing for a Sub-State title, these athletes have represented Santa Fe Trail with tremendous effort, determination, and pride throughout the season!

The Chargers traveled to Perry-Lecompton tonight for their fourth district matchup of the season and gave everything they had in a hard-fought contest that came down to the final play of the game.

We are excited to announce that Santa Fe Trail High School has qualified to host a KSHSAA 4A Sub-State Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, October 24! The Chargers will welcome Independence, Topeka Hayden, and Atchison as the four teams compete for a Sub-State Championship and a trip to the 4A State Volleyball Tournament.

Our Link Crew leaders met with their freshman groups for a first-quarter check-in filled with games, conversation, and ice cream. More importantly, they created space for freshmen to share how high school is going and build relationships with students who are ready to support them along the way.

School culture isn’t built in a single day or one big event. It grows through small moments, meaningful connections, and students who make others feel like they belong and that’s exactly what our Link Crew meet ups are all about!
