💦🛟 As lifeguards head back to school, the McDade Park splashpad will be open on limited days for the remainder of the 2026 season. The splashpad will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. as follows:

➡️ Wednesday, Aug. 26; Saturday, Aug. 29; and Sunday, Aug. 30
➡️ Saturday, Sept. 5; Sunday, Sept. 6; and Monday, Sept. 7 (Labor Day weekend)

Lakes remain open for swimming at your own risk with no lifeguards on duty. 🦠Water bacteria testing continues through Labor Day. Please swim with caution and stay safe!

The Lackawanna County Commissioners Youth Sports Initiative along with the Parks & Recreation department will host the 🏃🏃‍♀️ 𝟯𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 🏃🏃‍♀️ on Saturday, Sept. 12, at McDade Park, 1 Bald Mountain Road, Scranton.
