π
The Fourth of July is about family, freedom, and making memories... not making an emergency call. ππ
As we head into Independence Day weekend, Osage County Fire District 6 would like to remind everyone to celebrate safely.
A few simple precautions can prevent a trip to the emergency room or a call to your local firefighters:
π§ Keep a charged garden hose or bucket of water nearby.
π Light only one firework at a time.
π« Never relight a firework that doesn't go off.
π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ Keep children and spectators a safe distance away.
π₯ Be especially mindful of dry grass and fields. It only takes one spark to start a fast-moving grass fire.
We want everyone to enjoy the holiday, but we also want everyone to make it home safely.
From all of us at Osage County Fire District 6, have a safe and happy Fourth of July! πΊπΈ
If you experience an emergency, call 911 immediately.
