The Fourth of July is about family, freedom, and making memories... not making an emergency call. 🎆🚒
As we head into Independence Day weekend, Osage County Fire District 6 would like to remind everyone to celebrate safely.
A few simple precautions can prevent a trip to the emergency room or a call to your local firefighters:
💧 Keep a charged garden hose or bucket of water nearby.
🎇 Light only one firework at a time.
🚫 Never relight a firework that doesn't go off.
👨👩👧👦 Keep children and spectators a safe distance away.
🔥 Be especially mindful of dry grass and fields. It only takes one spark to start a fast-moving grass fire.
We want everyone to enjoy the holiday, but we also want everyone to make it home safely.
