Our students are back from Atlanta and the SkillsUSA National competition—and they brought home some massive wins!

Huge congratulations to James Eckmeder (North Pocono High School) for winning a SILVER MEDAL in Information Technology Services! Being named second in the country is an incredible achievement!

A giant shoutout also goes to our amazing Career Pathways: Arts and Communication team—Kaitlyn Walsh (Mid Valley), Mya Shumski (Valley View High School), and Sasha Giles (Valley View High School). They crushed it on the national stage and placed in the TOP 10 IN THE COUNTRY! 🏆🎨

Today, our welding students had the honor of completing and dedicating a special project in memory of Rose Hernandez. This project represents not only the skills and craftsmanship our students have developed but also the respect and appreciation we have for Rose's legacy and the impact she had on those around her.

Throughout the fabrication process, students worked hard to ensure every detail reflected the dedication, pride, and quality that this project deserved. It was a meaningful experience that allowed them to apply their technical skills while contributing to something that will serve as a lasting tribute.

We are proud of our students' efforts and grateful for the opportunity to be part of a project that honors Rose Hernandez's memory. Thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to making this dedication possible.

The Robotics and Automation class took a trip to Canpack in Olyphant in May. Our students got to tour every department, watching high-speed machines that cut, stamp, and shape the lids, tabs, and cans, while giant automatic robotic arms carefully stacked the empty cans on a pallet and readied them for shipping! They also got to see how the cans are decorated. Canpack is set to put out 6.5 billion cans from that facility alone this year! A big thank you to Wayne Marshall for inviting us and taking us on an excellent tour of the facility.
