This is a 10-month/188-day position (hello, summers off! ☀️) with a solid benefits package including health insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, and PSERS retirement.

🗓️ August 25th @ 5:30 PM – New Student Orientation
(For all NEW students, parents, & guardians)

🔔 August 27th– First Day of School
(First day back for all CTC students!)

🇺🇸 September 7th – Labor Day
(No School)

🚌 Transportation Note: All sending school districts provide transportation for their CTC students. If you have any transportation-related questions, please contact your sending school district directly.

Calling All RNs — CTCLC is Hiring a School Nurse!
Ready for a new kind of nursing challenge? The Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County is looking for a caring, dedicated School Nurse to join our CTCLC family for the 2026–2027 school year, supporting students in grades 10–12.

Good news: you don't need to already hold PA School Nurse certification to apply! If you have a current PA RN license, you may be eligible to be hired now and earn your certification through PDE's emergency permit process while you work — so don't count yourself out if this is new territory for you.
