REGISTRATION BEGINS TOMORROW AT 9 A.M.! ⚠️♻️☣️ The Lackawanna County Environmental Office is hosting their annual 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗭𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 for county residents on Saturday, Oct. 31, at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain, 1000 Montage Mountain Road, Scranton.

If not disposed of properly, Hazardous Household Waste can pose a threat to human health and the environment. Products may be flammable, corrosive, toxic or reactive and can contaminate the environment or pose risks to human health. Examples include paints, batteries, pesticides, motor oil, cleaning products and more. ⬇️ See the list below.

Labor Day Service Reminder

In observance of Labor Day, Monday, September 7, COLTS will not operate Fixed Route or Shared Ride service.

Regular service will resume on Tuesday, September 8.

Last call for FREE backpacks! 🎒

With the school season right around the corner, we’re offering three more pickups, thanks to our partnership with the Dunkin' Joy In Childhood Foundation! All backpacks are filled with essential school supplies to help students start the year ready to succeed.

📌 Important rules:
▪ Children must be present to receive a backpack
▪ No large corporate pickups are allowed

This survey is helping county leaders decide whether new microtransit options could connect more people to jobs across Lackawanna County. Friends of St. Francis our Free Clothing Store is in need of some specific clothing items to help us provide our neighbors with clothing they need. We greatly appreciate all donations we receive however currently we are especially in need of:

Men’s jeans — waist sizes 30–34
Men’s sneakers
Women’s sneakers
Men’s sweatpants
New socks for men and women
New undergarments for men and women
