$4.8 Million City Hall Restoration🌟

Preserving our past is just as important as celebrating Scranton’s bright future.

Built in 1888 and a designated historic landmark, City Hall serves as a shining example of the Electric City’s architectural heritage.

After decades of neglect, however, the Victorian Gothic architecture was REALLY showing its age.

Preserving our city’s legacy became a major priority and a 14-month long renovation project kicked off, which included:

- stained-glass window restoration
- replacement of slate roof tiles
- repointing mortar joints
- façade repairs
- the lighting of the gothic wheel windows high atop the bell tower

Six years ago, I wasn't supposed to win my mayoral race. Scranton's political machine had ruled this city for decades. The then-mayor had just resigned after pleading guilty to federal bribery and corruption charges. Local party bosses wanted to keep using the city government to benefit themselves.

I’m 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 running as Paige Against the Machine in Scranton. We go after corruption wherever we see it—it’s time to bring that same approach to Washington. I'll fight to make government work as hard as the people it represents.
