🚨 Congratulations to CW2 Zachary Appleton! 🚨

The 63rd Army Band is proud to share that our commander, CW2 Zachary Appleton, has been honored with the Brigadier General Patrick J. McCarthy Outstanding Junior Warrant Officer Award at the National Guard Association of New Jersey conference!

With 25 years of service in the New Jersey National Guard and four years leading the 63rd Army Band, CW2 Appleton’s dedication to excellence, leadership, and commitment to our mission has been recognized at the highest level.

In his own words:
“I will be accepting this award on behalf of the entire unit, because it would not be possible without the ceaseless commitment and dedication to our mission of each and every one of you. More than anything else, it is recognition of all the hard work we have done and everything we’ve been able to achieve together.”

This award is a testament to the hard work of our entire team, and we couldn’t be prouder to serve under his leadership. Join us in congratulating CW2 Appleton on this well-deserved honor! 🎶🎖️

SPC Dyer held down the low end on sousaphone as we marched in the 52nd Belmar St. Patrick’s Day Parade this past Sunday! With a brisk 29°F at step-off and 20 mph wind gusts, it was a chilly one—but that didn’t stop thousands from coming out to celebrate New Jersey’s largest parade! ☘️🎶
