We are proud to announce that, for the third consecutive year, the New Jersey Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion has reached 1,000 ascensions, once again exceeding the state’s annual mission.

Three years, three milestones but our mission remains the same: changing lives and creating opportunities for the future Soldiers who will live, serve, and make a difference right here in the great state of New Jersey.

The New Jersey Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion is proud to showcase its commitment to supporting and engaging with communities across the state.

STX Lanes: Our form of standardized testing, only you're sweating, the SAW is jamming, and the ticks are in full spring.

U.S Army Soldiers from the Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve forces conducted STX lanes during the 1-254th Regional Training Institute, New Jersey Army National Guard’s Infantry Advanced Leaders Course, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

You spend your weekends relaxing on the couch. We spend ours conducting a Norwegian Foot March at 0300. Only a select few Soldiers can claim that achievement!

U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers from across the New Jersey Army National Guard took on the Norwegian Foot March on August 1. Many pushed themselves to earn the highly coveted foreign award, which can be worn on their dress uniforms.

On August 7th, recruiters from New Jersey Army National Guard and New York Army National Guard - Recruiting conducted their annual best-practices cross-training and sporting event! ⚾️ 🏟️

Recruiters from both states shared their most effective techniques and strategies, strengthening the standard of excellence across the 54.
