Town Hall is experiencing intermittent internet and phone issues. We are working with our tech team to resolve the issue before closure at 4 PM today. A reminder Town Hall will be closed on Monday for Memorial Day.

Pathway repairs will continue through tomorrow. This portion of the pathway will be closed through Wednesday.

On Monday May 11th and Tuesday May 12th asphalt crews will be conducting repairs to the pathway adjacent to Seafields leading up to Freshfields. The pathway will be closed and inaccessible in that area while repairs are being completed. “Pathway Closed” signs will be placed in the appropriate locations so crews can safely complete their work.

✨ APRIL HIGHLIGHTS:

It's been a busy month and we wanted to share a few key moments before we welcome summer!

🎨 APRIL 27: “Treasures Of Seabrook Island”

The Grand Reception for the art exhibit was held on Monday. Artists presented some place, item, thing about Seabrook Island that they find wonderful. For 3.5 weeks, all of the public was invited to come to The Living Room Gallery at SIRE and vote. Over 300 people participating in the voting.

The Exhibition will on display until the end of June.

🌊 APRIL 28: Beach Safety Week Proclamation

The Town of Seabrook Island issued a proclamation during the April 28, 2026 Town Council meeting to proclaim the week leading up to Memorial Day as National Beach Safety Week.

The United States Lifesaving Association sponsors National Beach Safety Week in an effort to remind beachgoers to use caution in the aquatic environment.

⚡APRIL 29: Disaster Recovery Council

The Town hosted a successful annual Disaster Recovery Council meeting on Wednesday, April 29.

It was a day full of learning that prepared Seabrook Island leadership for the 2026 hurricane season.
