This week, we're celebrating our telecommunicators. 📞

National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is our chance to say thank you to the men and women of the Seabrook Police Department Telecommunications Division, the calm, steady voices on the other end of the line when it matters most.

They work long hours. They handle difficult calls. And they do it with professionalism and care, shift after shift, largely without recognition. Every time someone in our community dials for help, they're there, gathering information, coordinating a response, and making sure no one faces an emergency alone.

We see you, and we're so glad you're on our team. Thank you for everything you do.

The City of Seabrook has added an Emergency Rescue Vehicle to its public safety fleet through the State of Texas and the Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO) program, at no cost to taxpayers.

This specialized vehicle helps officers respond to high-risk situations, including active-shooter incidents and barricaded suspects, while providing added protection and mobility for first responders. Because only a few agencies in the region have this capability, Seabrook was selected to maintain the unit, which may also assist neighboring communities during critical incidents through mutual aid partnerships.
