The summer season is wrapping up, but it’s also one of the most critical times of the year for blood shortages. With travel, busy schedules, and seasonal illnesses, blood donations drop...yet hospitals still need blood every single day.

Last night, members of the Seabrook Volunteer Fire Department, supported the La Porte Fire Department by backing one of our apparatus into La Porte Fire Station 3 and provide coverage so that their members could enjoy their annual department banquet.

We’re always happy to help out our neighboring departments when needed…and, of course, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring a little red to their station and show them what a fire truck is supposed to look like! 😂🚒❤️

Mutual aid and cooperation between departments are an important part of the fire service. We were proud to help ensure La Porte remained covered while their firefighters had a well-deserved evening together.

Please join us in congratulating Station 1 Captain Lindsay Price on being appointed by Office of the Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas Emergency Services Retirement System Board of Trustees.
Her term is currently set to expire on September 1, 2027. Captain Price, thank you for stepping up to serve on a board that not only benefits our membership, but also supports first responders across the great State of Texas. We are proud of you and grateful for your continued leadership and dedication.

Governor Greg Abbott reappointed Matt Glaves and Jerry Romero and appointed Chris Anderson to the Texas Emergency Services Retirement System Board of Trustees for terms set to expire on September 1, 2031. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone in our community who came out last night to support the first of what we hope will be many events co-hosted by the Seabrook Volunteer Fire Department and the Seabrook Police Officers Association.
For many of our citizens, interactions with first responders happens only during emergencies or difficult moments. It was a pleasure to spend an evening together under much happier circumstances; sharing laughs, friendly competition, and strengthening the relationships that make our community so special. We cannot do what we do without the support of the public…and for that we are forever grateful.
Congratulations to our friends at the Seabrook Police Department on the victory. Enjoy the sweet smell of success...because we're planning to make it very short-lived. 😉
Thank you again to everyone who came out, cheered us on, and made the evening such a success. Again we want to thank Bayside Area Little League for the use of their fields and Mayor Jim Sweeney for being our official.

Congratulations to the Seabrook Police Officers Association on their victory last night. Fun times were had by everyone and it was great to enjoy the camaraderie with everyone. Special thanks goes to Bayside Area Little League for the use of their fields and Mayor Jim Sweeney for officiating the game. We are looking forward to the next time our paths cross on the fields.

The wait is over…

Turns out all those months of preparation, countless hours of practice, and Hall of Fame-level trash talk…

…still only added up to 2 runs.

To our brothers and sisters in red, we appreciate everything you do for our city.

But for one night…

You were just the team standing between us and bragging rights.

The scoreboard handled the rest.

Months of preparation...countless hours of practice.

We are excited to announce that Mayor Jim Sweeney has agreed to officiate the kickball game. The rules have been agreed to by Seabrook Police Officers Association and us; and we look forward to a wonderful game. Looking forward to seeing everyone out Friday night!!!!!

We've decided to be good sports.

🚨 COMMUNITY ADVISORY 🚨

Residents may notice an unusually large number of Seabrook police officers gathered around the baseball fields this Saturday. There is no cause for alarm. They'll simply be looking for the kickballs our offense sends into the outfield.

If you happen to find one...please return it to the nearest disappointed police officer.

We've completed our final scouting report 🧐.
What we've learned:
✍ They know how to write tickets.
✋ They know how to direct traffic.
🚓 They know where all the speed traps are.

What they DON'T know.....is how to stop a kickball traveling at 37 mph.
We're even bringing extra ice packs...but not for us; for all the bruised egos after Friday.
