FYI - Hoping this will help customers understand their bill. For quarterly bills, the usage is billed on a tiered rate each quarter, meaning the more you use the more it costs. Under description on the right side of the bill, there may be multiple lines of charges. The 1st line is what is charged for the 1st 5,000 gallons. If you use more than that, then the 2nd line is what is charged for the next 8,500 gallons. The 3rd line is for the next 11,500 gallons. The 4th line would be for the next 225,000 gallons and the 5th line would be for usage over 250,000 gallons. Also, the charges for the meter increased this year, being $20.64 for water & $39.00 for sewer. The 3rd quarter bill is usually the higher use months of Jun, Jul & Aug. Hope this helps everyone.
