We would like to thank everyone that came out to our chili dinner and gun raffle. Y’all make this event a success by coming out and having a good time and supporting the department. A very special thanks to the ones that donated items for our auction and the ones who donated funds for the purchase of our meat and ingredients for our chili. To the friends and family members not in the department that come every year and help out thank you once again! Without you all this event would not be a success. Bubba and Syl Hall (Bubbas’s), thank you for allowing us to use the kitchen. Chris and Deb Martin (Bayflats), thank you for your continued support.

Seadrift Firefighters with the assistance of City of Seadrift Public Works Employees installed an emergency clamp, stopping a major gas line leak inside the Seadrift City Limits

We do little to support or thank our volunteer firefighters, who in many communities risk their lives on our behalf.

Seadrift Area Volunteer Emergency Services presented a check for $1,000.00 to the Seadrift School Athletics Departmet this evening. This is our second year donating to the school. It was an awesome evening, both 7th and 8th grade teams won! It was also parents night for the Lady Pirates.
