The Seagoville Police Department is holding a written and physical agility test on Saturday March 28, at 8:00 a.m. at the Seagoville Police Department located at 1185 east Simonds Road Seagoville Texas, 75159.

The Seagoville Police Department is excited to announce our upcoming Citizens Police Academy class, running from April 7 through May 26, 2026!

This program is a great opportunity for community members to get involved, learn more about how our police department operates, and play an active role in keeping Seagoville safe. Participants will receive training in various parts of the Seagoville Police Department all while building strong partnerships between citizens and officers.

If you’re interested in volunteering, giving back to your community, or simply learning more about local law enforcement, this class is a fantastic place to start.

Narcotics Arrest Following Traffic Stop

On February 7, 2026, at approximately 8:44 P.M., a Seagoville Police Sergeant conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of West Simonds Road.

During the stop, the driver admitted to having illegal narcotics inside the vehicle. A probable cause search revealed multiple baggies containing a crystal-like substance, later confirmed to be Methamphetamine and Fentanyl, totaling over 233 grams. Officers also recovered a digital scale with residue where the narcotics were located within the vehicle.

The driver, identified as Michael Macias (53 YOA), was arrested and charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance greater than 200 grams but less than 400 grams.

This arrest underscores our commitment to keeping dangerous drugs off the streets and protecting our community.

Arresto por Narcóticos Tras Parada de Tráfico

El 7 de febrero de 2026, aproximadamente a las 8:44 P.M., un sargento de la Policía de Seagoville realizó una parada de tráfico en la cuadra 900 de West Simonds Road.

Durante la parada, el conductor admitió tener narcóticos ilegales dentro del vehículo. Una búsqueda con causa probable reveló múltiples bolsas que contenían una sustancia con apariencia cristalina, que posteriormente se confirmó como Metanfetamina y Fentanilo, con un total de más de 233 gramos. Los oficiales también recuperaron una báscula digital con residuos donde se encontraban los narcóticos dentro del vehículo.

El conductor, identificado como Michael Macias (53 años), fue arrestado y acusado de Fabricación o Distribución de una Sustancia Controlada mayor a 200 gramos pero menor a 400 gramos.

Este arresto subraya nuestro compromiso de mantener las dr**as peligrosas fuera de las calles y proteger a nuestra comunidad.
