The McDonald Observatory offers FREE subscriptions to StarDate magazine. Educators receive a full year, 6 issues, of StarDate magazine. This includes the Sky Almanac delivered in January, which provides astronomy highlights and skywatching tips for the whole year.

Join the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden for free Educator Open House events this September. Registration is free for one event per educator with a valid education email at https://DallasArboretum.org/education. Each educator can bring up to four guests.

An evening in the Children’s Adventure Garden: 5:30-8 p.m. on Sept. 24. Hands-on science exhibits, light bites, and an optional $35 concert add-on.

Family day at the Arboretum: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sept. 26. Full garden access, interactive exhibits, and autumn displays!
