SR-165 railroad crossing closing Friday for repairs

MONTGOMERY, Ala. โ€“ The SR-165 railroad crossing in Fort Mitchell will be closed at approximately 8 a.m. Friday, April 24.

The Columbus & Chattahoochee Railroad, Inc., owner of the railroad crossing, will close the section of tracks on SR-165 near Bradley Road to complete repair work.

The crossing is expected to reopen around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28.

SR-165 will be closed to through traffic. In coordination with Russell County, motorists should utilize Bradley Road, Nuckols Road, and Oswichee Road.
