The Story on the Street, a registered little free library, is back up and running!

Note: we are in a new location.

We’ve added a tiny food pantry shelf as well.

Please take what you want/need and leave what you wish, with a generous spirit, both books and food.

Please leave the box tidy and ready for the next person. If you find it unkempt, please message the page so we can be good stewards and clean it up as quickly as possible.

If you want to donate and there isn’t room in the box, rather than overcrowding the box please leave items under the porch, send us a message and let us know you did, and we will add them to the library as there is room.

Hope to see you “under the ginko tree”!
FYI—That is not the name of the little free library; our old name “The Story on the Street” will be back up as soon as Facebook allows the change/correction.

Two quick housekeeping notes:

If the book box is full please don’t overfill; it will break the springs. I can hold your donations until the box is empty again if you message me.

Someone(s) keep stealing the “floors” I install, most recently a glass cutting board, so you have to be careful of the hole when putting books in. I’m searching for a solution and welcome suggestions.
