Harding University English Department Acquire the skills and tools you need to be an influencer and voice for the modern world. Define yourself through courses in literature, writing, and film.

Our department has 11 full-time faculty, most of whom hold PhDs in their respective fields of study. We have three BA degrees:
English, English & Business Communication and English Licensure. We offer several non-degree options as well:
English minor
English as a Second Language Field
Film minor
Linguistics minor
Medieval and Renaissance Studies minor
Teaching English as a Second Language Field
Women's Studies minor
Writing minor
