It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our longtime friend and Simon’s Soup Kitchen volunteer, Margaret “Mickie” DeBenedictis.

Mickie brought something special with her each time she walked through our doors: a wonderful sense of humor, a warm smile, and a genuine kindness that made people feel welcome.

We are incredibly grateful for the many years Mickie shared with us and for the difference she made in the lives of our guests and fellow volunteers.

Our hearts are especially with Al and the entire DeBenedictis family. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of longtime Simon's Soup Kitchen volunteer, Anne Volz.

Anne was a fixture at Simon's Soup Kitchen for many years. She was always willing to jump in and help at a moment's notice, and her quick wit, warm smile, and kind heart made every volunteer night brighter for everyone around her.

Anne's compassion, generosity, and dedication touched the lives of countless guests and fellow volunteers. She never sought recognition, but her quiet acts of kindness and unwavering commitment made a lasting difference in our community.

She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever remain a part of the Simon's Soup Kitchen family.

Please keep Anne's family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
