Good morning Seaside Park!

In the early hours of today Class 1, Class 2, and Full-Time Officers of the Seaside Park Police Department participated in the annual Torch Run to raise awareness for the Special Olympics. Ptl. Buss carried the Flame of Hope that will travel alongside thousands of other officers across the state of New Jersey, great job!

Officers from the Toms River Police Department, New Jersey State Park Police, Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and the New Jersey Department of Corrections joined us at the Island Beach State Park gate house to kick off the run!

This coming Friday members of the Seaside Park Police Department will be participating in the annual Torch Run alongside thousands of other officers to carry the “Flame of Hope” to raise and awareness for the Special Olympics of New Jersey.

With the annexation of Seaside Park, our runners no longer start on 14th Avenue, but at the gatehouse of Island Beach State Park! See you there!

May is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The Seaside Park Police Department recognizes Ptl. Stilton who is a first generation Filipino American.

Ptl. Stilton was originally hired as a SLEO 1 in 2017 and then attended the Ocean County Police Academy in 2018 as a SLEO II. In 2021 she was hired as the departments first full time female officer. She currently serves as the Class One Coordinator, Special Needs and Bias Liaison, and the CPR and Defensive Tactics Instructor. She also is an instructor at the Ocean County Police Academy for Arrest, Search and Seizure and Community Policing. 🇵🇭🇺🇸

Happy Memorial Day!

The long weekend and rain did not stop us from the annual Memorial Day service at the Seaside Park Police Department. We remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you to everyone in attendance. 🇺🇸

This event allows the community to meet the officers of Seaside Park PBA 182 alongside our locals businesses and residents! Building stronger relations with our community one cup at a time!
