🎉 Independence from Hunger Food Drive — AMAZING SUCCESS! 🎉

A HUGE shout-out to Tom and his incredible team at Grocery Outlet for creating such a wonderful platform for our community to come together and support the South County Community Food Bank! ❤️

Throughout the month of July, our community donated an incredible $4,150 to help provide food for our neighbors in need. WOW!!! 🙌👏

This morning, we had the honor of being presented with a check and the opportunity to personally thank Tom for all he and his team do to support the SCCFB and our community. We are so grateful for this partnership!

Now through July 31, stop by Grocery Outlet and support the Independence from Hunger community food drive! Every donation benefits the South County Community Food Bank.

☑️🍓 No child should start their day hungry. 🍓☑️

During the school year, the Seaside School District provides free breakfast and lunch to every student. Throughout the summer, free lunches continue Mon-Fri. SCCFB is helping to fill the breakfast need by providing a FREE Breakfast Grab Bag!

Each bag contains four individually packaged breakfast items to help kids start their day nourished and ready for whatever summer brings.

Together, we're helping fill the breakfast gap so local children have access to healthy meals even when school is out.

🎉 Thank You, First Interstate Bank 🎉

SCCFB is honored to receive a $25,000 Believe in Local Grant from First Interstate Bank and the First Interstate BancSystem Foundation.

This generous investment will help us continue our mission of providing food assistance to our neighbors in need. Each year, South County Community Food Bank distributes more than 250,000 pounds of food and serves over 12,000 individuals and families throughout our community.

A special thank you to Kevin Hyder, Community Branch Manager, for nominating our organization for this award.

🚀 Big things are coming! This grant helps lay the foundation for new programs and community initiatives we'll be announcing soon. Stay tuned—we're just getting started!

🍎🤝 Community Partnership in Action! 🤝🍎

The South County Food Bank is proud to partner with the Seaside Oregon Police Department to help address immediate food insecurity in our community.

Through this partnership, the Food Bank provides SPD with emergency food bags filled with high-protein, ready-to-eat items that require no preparation. These bags are available for individuals and families who need immediate access to food.

Community Service Officer Paul Knoch helps ensure these bags reach those who need them most. The bags are available for pickup in the Seaside Police Department lobby.

We are grateful to the Seaside Police Department and Officer Knoch for their commitment to serving our community with compassion and care. Together, we're helping ensure that no one has to face hunger alone.
