Coalition of Homeless Services Providers The CHSP and its agency members serve low-income and homeless individuals and families of all races and ethnicities throughout Monterey County.

The Coalition of Homeless Services Providers is a group of private non-profit and public organizations working together to address the complex issues of homelessness. The 2011 Monterey County Homeless Census and Survey, a one day, point-in-time count of the area’s street, emergency shelter, and transitional housing homeless estimated 3,472 individuals at any point in time in our area, which represents 1% of today's population of 406,049 citizens.
