Our extended and enriched learning programs give our students opportunities to learn new skills, have fun, and practice teamwork! This week, our basketball teams are getting ready for their first games with other Seaside schools, and our Otter Squad is learning new songs and cheers! Seaside Fire Department visited our TK class! Students had a great time learning about how firefighters keep our community safe!

On October 3rd, students from MPUSD elementary schools participated in the annual Special Olympics soccer event at Seaside High School! Our students participated and had a lot of fun! Coming along to cheer them on where our 5th grade classes and our Otter Squad cheer team, which also performed a special song and cheer! Go Otters!

6th graders visited Camp Ocean Pines for their science camp experience! They went on a beach hike, explored the touch tanks, made nature art, had a big group dinner, and learned the basics of archery!

A huge shout out to the family chaperones who took time away from work to support our proud 6th grade otters!
