King County Sheriff's Detectives need your help in an attempted robbery and assault case on a Metro Bus.
On February 23, at about 9:30pm, both the suspect and a passenger boarded at the Renton Transit Center.
The woman said he touched her inappropriately, so she took his picture. He confronted her over the photo, assaulted her and grabbed her phone. He got off the bus at SE 192nd and 108th Avenue SE in Kent.

Today marks 72 years since Deputy Donald A. Armeni lost his life in the line of duty for the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Armeni was shot and killed by a suspect who he was taking into custody on a warrant.

His dedication and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Pro Tip. When a K9 officer tells you not to run, listen. Because if you don't, look what happens.
Last month, one of our Southeast Sergeants was driving along 151st Avenue in Fairwood and spotted an unoccupied U-Haul on the side of the road. He ran the plates and it came up stolen.
Later, our K9 Deputy checking on the truck saw a man step out of it and promptly ignore instructions. So, Duke went to work.
Ultimately, this guy was arrested and charged by the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for possession of a stolen motor vehicle and obstructing a law enforcement officer.
The lesson here: don't put up your dukes with Duke.
