Always remember - this is not an airworthy plane in its own right. It will always require extraordinary flight systems and technical manipulation in order to compensate for its built in tendency to plummet to the earch under even general flying conditions.

The Boeing 737 Max plane should be recalled and banned.from ever flying again.

This does not make sense, if it is so critical that the orcas are starving because there is not enough salmon, then there is an easy solution, quit harvesting every salmon and leave them for the orcas then. Tribes, sports, and commercial fishers alike.

The other part is the poor quality, even lethal quality of the water everyone of these creatures of the sea are living in. Puget Sound waters, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, they are living in the region’s toilet bowl. All residents of these waters exist in suboptimal conditions, and are out of balance with their natural natures.

SAVE THE SALISH SEA

There’s a certain irony or comedy associated with this. The chief State of Washington enforcer for federal and State environmental protection laws, the Department of Ecology, is presided over by certainly someone who could be considered a highly placed representative from the tribes.

The further irony is that with all this talk about saving the “Salish Sea”, which includes Puget Sound, that more and more sewage is being dumped into it, treated or not, due to the excessive growth policies of Seattle alone.

The day King County and Seattle want to stop with the growth and stop making Puget Sound their regional toilet maybe some actual progress could be made towards making it healthier and by extension the grand Salish Sea of yesteryear. In the meantime millions more gallons of human waste are being dumped into Puget Sound and flow into every bay, backwater, and estuary near it.

The Legislature should consider investing in a robust, nonpartisan economic analysis program to help members and the public better understand the ramifications of major policies.

STAY IN YOUR LANE

Priceless bit of City Council bickering and infighting on public display. So let’s get this all straight, earlier this week we were treated to the testy exchanges between Sally Bagshaw and a staffer in the then mayor’s office, with council member Sally Bagshaw accusing fellow council member Lorena Gonzalez of being a grandstander. In this little ditty below we have Seattle city councilmembers putting on a public display of pettiness, jealousy, and a revealing look at what they really think about each other and the public in the bargain - the inner workings of the Sausage Factory at 100 Drama Queen Lane, aka City Hall.

Councilmember Sawant is engaged in her usual bombastic efforts to shove her Socialist Now agenda down everyone’s throat including her fellow councilmembers, to be sure there’s no sympathy here for them, and Gonzalez taking umbridge at such, stamping her feet that she’s not going to kowtow to Sawant, her statement, she is there representing Indian country after all! Priceless political theater and on balance an eyebrow raising statement by Gonzalez that she can’t consider a resolution until she goes and consults with her people, the tribes in the South Sound.

Amazing stuff. We have on the one hand Sawant who has made it absolutely clear the contempt in which she holds the average citizen in Seattle, and on the other hand Gonzalez coming out of her closet of skeletons making it clear that she is not a Seattle city councilmember, she is the now declared council member at-large for the very anti-anything-related-to-the-White-People-and-their-governments tribes of Washington state!

It’s absurd that these Seattle City Council members who are supposed to be representing the people of Seattle, as in all of them, clearly don’t subscribe to such a covenant with the people. Partisan and petty they are a disgrace, a distraction, and worst of all the citizens of Seattle are paying in more ways than one to provide the platform for these drama queens and political freeloaders.

The founder of Democracy Workshop, Elizabeth Campbell would like to thank everyone who worked for us on the Washington I-591 campaign. Not only did we complete our 120,000 signature contract, but we also turned in nearly 15,000 extra signatures on top of that!! We would like to personally thank Tyler, Larry, our other managers, the processors and validators, and last but certainly but not least all the signature gatherers. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, loyalty to the campaign, and respecting our clients wishes of only carrying the I-591 petition. Once again we have proven that no matter how large or small our contracts are, we are the reliable and honest choice for our clients!! Now hiring petition circulators for Initiative 591. I-591 requires gun ownership background checks that adhere to a uniform national standard and requires that individuals have a due process right prior to any gun confiscation - just like they have in most cases when there is a potential for them to lose property.

Piece work compensation rate of $1 per signature that complies with applicable State of Washington Labor and Industry and Employment Security Standards related to piece work compensation.

Circulators acting as independent contractors must be currently registered with the State of Washington Department of Revenue and provide a Uniform Business Identification number to Democracy Workshop - no exceptions.

All circulators must have and provide to Democracy Workshop current address and phone number(s), provide correct social security information.

Please note also: Any person that is the party to any State of Washington claim for collections for child support - All employees by law must be registered by their employer with the State of Washington, hence the State may notify Democracy Workshop that they must withhold a portion of any wages earned if the State has an order to satisfy such a claim for payment).
