The Seven Sisters Campaign, led by Se’Si’Le, uplifts the leadership of Indigenous women addressing biodiversity loss, climate disruption, and environmental injustice.

Through nationwide events in 2026, beginning in June and spanning the Pacific Northwest to DC and NYC, the campaign invites communities to rethink our relationship with nature and each other.

Join us for the first stop of the Seven Sisters Campaign on June 13 on Orcas Island: https://se-si-le.org/campaigns/seven-sisters

ICYMI: We are fighting Trump's illegal order to force Washington's last coal plant to continue operating.

This order is a lose-lose for Washington families, our environment, and even the coal company, TransAlta, which has already spent $20 million just to keep the Centralia plant on standby for Donald Trump.

Read more:

The Department of Energy ordered the plant to be ready to generate power, even though its owners had been in agreement with the state to wind down in 2025.

Winner-takes-all elections = unfair results, inequitable representation.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Join us to fight for a more just election system and a fairer democracy 🗳️☑️

On May 20th, we held our first community listening session in Yakima. Community members gathered to learn where contaminated sites are, how the state cleans them up, and took action together.

Thank you to our partners at ELLA for being great co-hosts!

This event was funded in part by a Public Participation Grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

On May 1, we gathered to celebrate our movement to protect people and nature as one. It's clear that despite challenges from the federal government, our community in Washington remains committed to defending our progress and nurturing our future.

Thank you for making our annual gala a night to remember! Check out some photos from the night by Chris Neir.

Today is Endangered Species Day 🐋🐠

We do this work because we believe in a future where orca and salmon thrive. Our beloved Southern Resident orcas are at risk of extinction due to dwindling salmon populations in the Salish Sea. We must act now to recover salmon populations for a healthy ecosystem and to uphold Tribal sovereignty by protecting treaty-reserved rights to fish for salmon.

Take action now for endangered species and salmon recovery >> wcaction.us/FundSalmon
