Refugees Northwest Foster Care, Lutheran Community Services NW Long-term foster care program serving refugee and immigrant youth in the greater Seattle area. All of these youth are in the U.S.

Based in Seattle, Refugees Northwest Foster Care (previously known as the Refugee & Immigrant Children’s Program) resettles and serves unaccompanied youth in foster care in King County, Washington. Separated from family by war, persecution, and extreme instability, youth referred to our program come from all over the world, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Somalia, Eritre

a, Sudan, Burma (ethnic minority Rohingya), as well as Mexico and Central America. alone without a parent or guardian to provide care. You can help - become a foster parent or host home to a refugee or immigrant youth!
