We’re excited to welcome the CCS NW Food Bank to our program network!

The CCS NW Food Bank has been serving farmworker and Spanish-speaking communities in Whatcom County since 2007, providing culturally relevant food, clothing, and hygiene items.

We look forward to celebrating the food bank’s continued impact as part of the CCS program network.

The food bank will open next Wednesday, June 17 this year.

This May, we honor the love, strength, and sacrifice of kinship caregivers who step forward to keep families connected and children surrounded by care.

We are inspired by the 2026 Kinship Voices of Children and Caregivers booklet and stories like Taneika’s: "Even through loss, love showed up- and it stayed. And so did I!!"

“Home is more than a roof — it’s dignity, healing, belonging, and hope.”

In the Intercommunity Peace & Justice Center Spring issue, CCSWW CEO, Jilma Meneses, reminds us that our call to serve is rooted in compassion, justice, and the belief that every person deserves to feel safe, seen, and loved. Through faith and community, we continue building pathways toward stability and hope for our neighbors most in need.
