This is where you belong while you build your dreams. An urban trifecta - coffeeshop, post office & gift shop, inspiring better ways of doing things since 2002.

Ran into Nathan the other day, and it reminded me how lucky we’ve been to have some truly special people be part of the Sip and Ship community.

Nathan was an instrumental manager for us — someone who genuinely loved coffee, but even more than that, had a gift for bringing people together. He led with humility, grace and just the right amount of humor, and had a way of helping our team find its rhythm while making people feel comfortable being themselves.

Some people move on to their next chapter, but the mark they leave behind stays with you.

So good to see you, Nathan. Until next time — and go M’s!

Meet your new emotional support animal. No feeding, walking, or vet visits required. Just maximum cozy.

Back-to-school season can bring big feelings and little nerves. A cuddle friend can keep you company at the breakfast table, come along for the first-day adventure, sit beside you while you unpack your dorm room, or curl up with you after a long day.

Whimsical enough for a dorm room, playful enough for the office, and right at home on the couch.

Basically… your new favorite roommate, coworker, and emotional support animal—all rolled into one.

TOP 3 REASONS TO EMBRACE YOUR LATTE HABIT

1. It makes Wednesday better.
Warm espresso. Swirly foam. A little cinnamon goodness. Midweek magic in a cup.

2. It gives you something to look forward to.
Because Wednesday deserves a little treat, too.

3. It puts a little sparkle into running errands.
Drop off a package. Pick up your mail. Send a card. Grab a gift. Get your latte. Suddenly, your to-do list feels a whole lot more delightful.

At Sip and Ship, we believe getting things done should taste good, too.

Happy Wednesday. Embrace your latte habit.

Behind the scenes

Yesterday, I got to witness one of those little moments that reminds me what makes Sip and Ship special.

Caroline brought her five-month-old, Cooper, to work, and while she and Stephanie got to work creating this adorable stamp-inspired window installation, I got to hold that sweet baby. I stepped back and watched the two of them collaborate, create, problem-solve, and turn an idea into something beautiful.

And honestly? It was pretty wonderful.

The window is a fun way to remind our customers that we sell postage stamps—including some really great designs right now—but what I love most is what happened behind the window.

It was creativity. Collaboration. Family. Community. And two people putting their hearts into making our little corner of the world a bit more beautiful.

Caroline and Stephanie, you absolutely nailed it. I love seeing you bring your ideas to life, connect with our customers, and make Sip and Ship your own.

And Cooper? Thank you for reminding me just how quickly those baby years go by. Holding you took me right back to the days when my own babies were part of the routine at Sip and Ship.

This is the stuff behind the scenes—the people, the creativity, the care—that makes Sip and Ship what it is.

Come take a look at their handiwork. I hope it makes you smile as much asit made me smile.

Same love for it.

Ten Years With Mira 🌿💛

Then and now. Ten years apart, and a whole lot of life, love, and growing in between.

Mira first walked through our doors at 16, looking for her very first job. What began with after-school shifts and weekends in Ballard became something so much bigger than any of us could have imagined: ten years of connection, trust, friendship, and growing together.

Over the years, Mira has come and gone with the seasons — heading off to college, returning for summer and holiday breaks when we needed her most, and eventually coming back after graduation. Through every chapter, she kept showing up as her wonderful, whole self.

And we have had the extraordinary privilege of watching her grow.

From a 16-year-old finding her footing in her first job to a confident, capable 26-year-old woman building a life of her own, Mira has grown alongside Sip and Ship. She has been part of our busiest seasons, biggest changes, hardest days, happiest moments, and countless little moments in between.

But somewhere along the way, she stopped being simply an employee.

She became part of our community. A trusted partner. A dear friend. Someone whose presence makes our lives — and our little corner of the world — better.

Mira has taught us something we believe deeply: none of us gets anywhere alone. We are shaped by the people who show up, who believe in us, who return, who grow alongside us, and who leave a little bit of themselves behind.

Mira has done all of that and more.

Ten years later, she is still growing strong — and we could not be prouder.

Mira, you are truly a treasure in our lives. We are so grateful for every season, every chapter, every laugh, every shift, and every year we’ve had the privilege of knowing you. Watching the person you have become has been one of the great gifts of this journey.

Here’s to the next chapter — whatever it holds. And wherever life takes you, please know that you will always have a place in our story, in our hearts, and in this community you have helped make better.

Happy 10 years, Mira.

We love being a part of your journey ♥️
