A local hero visited our Greenwood Senior Center! Keb won the American Humane Society's 2022 Search and Rescue Hero Dog Award and she stopped by with her pet parent Suzanne Elshult and their search partner Guy Mansfield last month. 🐕

They gave a presentation based on their new book, "A Dog’s Devotion: True Adventures of a K9 Search and Rescue Team." Our excited crowd learned about the passion, devotion, and years of skill-building that are needed to search for the living and the dead. Keb has been in over 100 search missions!

Welcome seniors, friends, family, citizens and neighbors!

The Greenwood Senior Center is an inclusive community that provides social, physical, and educational activities focused around the needs of older adults. We work to fight isolation, build camaraderie, and enrich each other’s lives.

The Center has served Greenwood and neighboring communities since 1974. In 2006, we became a program of the Phinney Neighborhood Association.

We provide a all kinds of programs, services, events and classes for adults in a wide range of areas: fitness; art and literature; technology; social services and counseling; and social opportunities, including field trips and a daily lunch. We also strengthen and connect caregivers, and offer cutting-edge memory-loss programming.

The Greenwood Senior Center is a place to gather, connect, share, make friends, and live a fuller life.
